m-klimaX - User Guide
General information
m-klimaX was designed in principle for one-handed operation in portrait format. In addition, m-klimaX offers a number of useful functions which should make work easier:
- As long as m-klimaX is executed in the foreground, the display of your smartphone will not switch off.
- The display is locked in portrait mode, so no unintentional rotation of the display is possible.
- The two-finger zoom function is disabled. Can be activated via "Settings".
- m-klimaX can only be ended via a special button. If, for example, the input of a component is interrupted by a call, the data already entered is retained.
Some control elements distinguish m-klimaX from many other apps. We would like to explain these here.
Projects, orders and components
On the main screen, tap the Projects button.
Menu structure projects
The projects, orders and components are arranged in a 3-level structure in m-klimaX. In the first place there is a project. A project is e.g. a building project or the section of a larger building project. There can be several orders under each project. An order should have a clear name that indicates the intended use of the building components, e.g. "Supply air 3rd floor room 318" or "Measurement parts 12.09.2017". In each order, the corresponding components are saved. m-klimaX sends the selected order with all the components contained in it.
Note: If you already work with e-klimaX or win-klimaX you are used to a 4-level structure. However, the higher level customer does not apply to m-klimaX. The respective user is already the customer.
Create new project
In the menu Projects tap on the button new project (at the bottom).

Note: The "inheritance" of entered or selected project data and project properties serves the purpose of faster order entry and error prevention. If, for example, the technical properties in the project have been selected correctly, all new orders will initially have these properties preset. All data and properties can still be individually adjusted/changed in each order. Inheritance" basically only affects new orders. All already existing orders in the project remain unaffected by changes to data and properties of the project. After you have entered all project data, press the "Save" button. You will then return to the project overview where the newly created project is already selected as the current project.

In the menu - Projects tap on the button new order below an already existing project.

After you have entered all the data of the order, press the Save button. You will then return to the project overview, where the project and the newly created order are already selected as the current order.

Tap on the button new component below an order.

Select the appropriate article from the article selection list.
Note: In order to keep the list of components as short and clear as possible, some component variations were deliberately omitted. For example, there is the component "41 - transition asymmetrical", but not the component "40 - transition symmetrical". The component "40" can be generated from component "41" simply by setting the values "EA" and "FA" to "0.

Edit component
After you have created and saved a component, an overview of all components saved in this order appears. If there are more than 2 components, a summary of the entire order is displayed as the lowest position.

Edit component
Tap on a component in the project overview to open it for editing. Edit the data of the component and then tap on the Save button.
Delete component
Tap on a component in the project overview to open it for editing. To delete the component, tap on the button delete component at the bottom of the screen.
m-klimaX - Keyboard
The keyboard, specially developed for m-klimaX, makes it easier for you to enter components and prevents input errors. Furthermore, you can complete your component input more quickly. The keyboard does not have to be closed for each value. With the „TAB“-key you jump to the next component value. The keyboard is partly transparent. You can "slide" the component graphic behind the keyboard.
Order process
Start the ordering process via the button Order in the menu projects or directly in the component overview.

Note: If the button "Order" is green, the conditions for the dispatch of the order are given. If a condition is not fulfilled, the button has a yellow warning symbol. Tap on the button to find out why the order cannot be shipped. In most cases a supplier has not yet been selected or the desired delivery date is in the past.
You will now get to the order overview. Please make sure that all data are correct before sending your order.

To confirm, enter the security code shown above into the input field and press the Order button.
Confirmation
You will receive a confirmation when your order has been successfully shipped. The transmission date and the consecutive m-klimaX order number are generated on the server.
Status of a sent order
In order to simplify communication between the orderer and the recipient, m-klimaX shows you the status of your order. You can see whether your order has been sent and whether the recipient has already opened and read your order.
Open the order you want to check in the menu projects.

Note: If the recipient of the order has been selected from the m-klimaX supplier list, he can respond to your order with a few status messages. In this case tap on the button Details in the relevant order.
Reset order
As soon as you have successfully sent an order it will be blocked for further processing in the m-klimaX. You can reset this order and thus activate it for further processing and dispatch.
Note: Resetting an order does NOT automatically cancel it with the supplier. You must contact the supplier yourself to cancel the order if they have not yet produced your order. You will no longer be able to view the status of your old order. When the order is sent again, a completely new order process is created.
Open the relevant order in the menu and press the Details button. At the bottom of the order details you will find the Reset order button.
Change suppliers
m-klimaX - Suppliers
Note: The function described below is only available in the licence model m-klimaX and unlimited.
The m-klimaX supplier list is the compilation of all air duct manufacturers who work with the software Win-klimaX of MEZ-TECHNIK. So that you can send your orders to one of these manufacturers you must first add one or more from the m-klimaX supplier list to your personal selection.
Tap on the suppliers button on the start screen and then on the m-klimaX suppliers button.

Tap the List Suppliers button. Select your supplier from the m-klimaX supplier list.

Own suppliers
Note: The function described below is only available in the unlimited license model.
Simply create your own suppliers or recipients of orders. Your own suppliers are always shown in the list of order recipients in the project and orders.

Note: Do not be misled by the wording "supplier". This only refers to the recipient of your orders. The supplier can also be, for example, a clerk in the office.
Tap on the button new supplier.

My Data
Note: It is important that you provide your own data and this is also a prerequisite for sending orders. These data will be communicated to the recipient of the order so that he can contact you in case of any questions..
On the Home screen, tap the My Data button.

Note: These data will only be linked to the order when it is shipped. A change is therefore also possible directly before dispatch and has no effect on orders already sent. Your e-mail address will NOT be transmitted to the recipient of your order for reasons of data protection.

Database
Note: You should only be active in the menu; database if you are aware of what you are doing. Some actions can lead to loss of data. m-klimaX is basically set up so that regular backups (at every program start and end) of the database are made.
This allows you to access data that you have inadvertently deleted.

Create backup
Tap the Create Backup button in the Backup menu to create a backup of the database at this time.

Tap on the backup you want to import.
Note: When a backup is imported, all projects, orders and components created since the date of the backup are no longer available. The import of a backup can be reversed, since a backup is also created when a backup is imported..
This backup is saved in the backup list as Restore.

Note: Only change the settings of the automatic backups if, for example, there are problems with the program start. Normally the creation of the backups takes only a few seconds.
Tap the button backup settings in the backup menu.

Create new database
Note: This function causes all tables in the database to be recreated. All projects, orders, parts, suppliers etc. will be lost. Also all existing backups are irretrievably deleted. This function is intended for use if, for example, a smartphone including the installed m-klimaX is to change hands but the data does not. This step can NOT be reversed!
Tap on the Database menu; on the button "Create new database".
