Leakage testing & reporting on ductwork
Leakage testing & reporting on ductwork
The air tightness of air duct systems in ventilation systems is required by legally binding and technical regulations and, if agreed in the works contract, is a service owed by the system installer. Leakage tests must be carried out on the air duct systems to verify the tightness.
The seminar comprises a theoretical and a practical part.
In the theoretical part of the seminar, the legally binding and technical regulations that require the tightness of air duct systems in ventilation systems are presented and the general and measuring principles for carrying out a leakage test are taught.
In the practical part of the seminar, a leakage test is carried out together with the seminar participants for a partial air duct system of a partial air conditioning system in an existing building. The result of the leakage test is evaluated. The requirements for the preparation of the inspection report for the leakage test are taught.
By participating in the seminar you will gain
- the knowledge of why tight air duct systems must be guaranteed during installation & operation and
- the expertise to carry out a leakage test and
- the knowledge to create a proper inspection report.
We offer you an ideal learning environment with state-of-the-art technology and experienced instructors who impart practical knowledge and are happy to answer any questions you may have. See for yourself and get to know our academy.
