Duty to notify pursuant to clause 18 Battery Act

As an end user you are legally obligated to return old batteries.

The old batteries, which we as distributors include or have included as new batteries in our assortment, can be returned free of charge in our shipping warehouse (MEZ-TECHNIK GmbH Bierwiesenstrasse, 72770 Reutlingen).

The characters on the batteries have the following meaning:
Hg = more than 0.0005 mass% of mercury in the battery
Cd = more than 0.002 mass% cadmium in the battery 
Pb = more than 0.004 mass% of lead in the battery

The symbol on the battery of the crossed-out waste bin means that the battery must not be disposed of in household waste.
