Residential building Karlsruhe

In this project, the task was to "aeroseal" the exhaust air installations (kitchen/bath) of two big residential buildings owned by Volkswohnung GmbH in Karlsruhe (64 apartments in total). The newly installed ventilation systems corresponded to an air tightness class A before the intervention with MEZ-AEROSEAL. The target was to reach air tightness class D.

PROJECT COURSE

Thanks to the efficient sealing with MEZ-AEROSEAL, the exhaust air installations of the two residential buildings with 32 apartments each, could be sealed with only 3 working days, even though some of the apartments were already occupied. The work didn't cause any dirt or dust. The leakage could be reduced by an average of 94% and all exhaust air installations of the two residential buildings now correspond to an air tightness class D.
