Virga Jesse Hospital

The hospital pharmacy supply duct system should comply with the cleanroom standards. Therefore airtightness class C (EN1507) was recommended. After the performed air tightness tests it appeared that even class A could not be achieved. A solution had to be found to avoid a new installation of the supply ducts.

PROJECT COURSE

Air ducts made out of sheet metal, connected with flange system. Sealing performed with 3 injections point. Leakage has been reduced by 94,75% in total. Therefore leakage class C (EN 1507) has been achieved for the whole pharmacy supply duct system.
