Retirement home "Franziskus"
The retirement home "Franziskus" was completely renovated. Some of the old ducts run and air handling unites were reintegrated into the new structure because of cost concerns. After the renovation, one of the reused air handling units, together with a reused kitchen exhaust air duct, were causing massive odor pollution in the whole building. In a first step, the executing company tried to manually seal the existing leakage. Unluckily, this action was not successful. Most of the leaks were inaccessible or couldn't be found at all. At that point, Aeroseal Austria was contacted to seal the affected duct runs.
