Hospital Barmherzige Brüder

The existing kitchen exhaust air ducts, which were at least 35 years old, should be brought up to the current standard in the course of a kitchen refurbishment. For this purpose the pipes were first cleaned by HBL Haidinger and then the ventilation lines were sealed with the „Aeroseal“ system.

PROJECT COURSE

The flexible connections on the extractors were removed and sealed with spiro caps. The existing pipes were closed on all sides by the Lengauer company using sheet metal plates; a sheet metal plate was also used for the connection to the ventilation unit. The sealing unit was installed directly in the main kitchen and connected to the ventilation ducts above. After sealing was completed with the Aeroseal system, a tightness class „C“ was achieved for these ventilation ducts. The extractors were then directly connected with fixed spiro pipes..
